The men, aged 30 and 31, were taken to Napier police station where they were charged with possession for supplying methamphetamine and possession of drug utensils.
Auckland police said the bust has led to numerous leads and more arrests were highly likely as a larger investigation was now underway.
Detective Inspector Ross McKay said the find was a massive win for the communities the drugs were destined for.
"We believe that the supply ring was carrying out its illicit activity between the central and upper North Island, and the methamphetamine was destined for the Hawkes Bay and Tararua areas," he said.
"The supply and dealing of illicit drugs knows no boundaries and this seizure is a major success for these communities."
The 30 year old man appeared in Napier District Court and was remanded in custody. He was due to reappear in Dannevirke District Court on August 21.
Police are continuing to question the 31 year old man. He was remanded on bail and will appear in Napier District Court later this week.
A police spokeswoman said the bust was largest in both the Hawkes Bay and Tararua areas in recent years.

If I say the word what comes up for you?
For some, it brings images of property, money, men or women in suits or graphs. For others, it could be words such as risk, loss gain, strategy, growth or numbers.
When you decide to build up your dream, you may do so swiftly and effectively while still working full time at your current job. That when the word will take a whole new meaning for you. During this transition time to setting up your own business or job or career change, you will need the appropriate investment portfolio. Now, we ready. So, the first of the four investments.
While you are at your current job, your aim is to gather the right inner and outer resources to carry out successfully your future job. Investments aim to maximize the value of assets. What your most valuable asset? You are. Therefore you are your Number One and biggest investment.
Investing in yourself is the only investment that no one will ever be able to take away from you. What you need to do right now is identify what missing to fill the gap between where you are and where you want to be: is there training to follow that you must transform into skill?
Information to acquire that you must transform into knowledge? Personality traits that you must transform into strength of character? Juggling your full time work and nurturing your dream at the same time can set you off on an emotional, physical, mental or spiritual rollercoaster. Your skills and character will take you to the highs and get you through the lows.
Undoubtedly, the primary skill that you must develop is the skill of learning. If you great at learning, you can be great at a n y t h i n g. So first and foremost, develop the skill of learning. How can you learn?
You can learn by attending a course/workshop/seminar. Yes.
You can learn by watching documentaries. Sure.
You can learn by reading articles. Why not.
You can learn by having a mentor/coach. Certainly.
You can learn by following a tutorial. Definitely.
You can learn by reading [Your subject] for Dummies. True.
You can learn by studying people who have succeeded. Not bad.
You can learn by introspecting and contemplating. Good.
You can learn by watching TV. Maybe not.
These usual ways are in fact only learning environments with loads of information. To build your true expertise, you will need more than information. You will need to convert these opportunities and possibilities to learn into actual learning and skill. The best way to learn is through making mistakes. The best way to improve your skills is to practice, play and test. And before you know it, your confidence will grow stronger and stronger.
If you want to become a graphics designer, for example, now is the time to investigate the options available for you get the technical skills of graphics design. I know, this isn rocket science. But here is the part that will make you meditate: do not be concerned with getting the qualification itself but rather with acquiring the skills and the knowledge of designing beautifully. A qualification is a means to invest in yourself, not just in a career. Any qualification you undertake goes beyond the evolving technical skills of your craft. So while learning what graphic designers do, you can enjoy the opportunities to develop problem solving, time management, self sufficiency or people skills; instrumental in eventually being successful. Training becomes a choice based on joy, not on scores.

There’s more to baseball than ‘peanuts and Cracker Jacks’, as the song suggests. Baseball has many rules to ensure fair play. And while you may understand the basics that require you to hit the ball and run, it’s good to understand all of the rules of baseball. You’ll be a better player and a better fan, if you know how the game of baseball is really played.
Know how a baseball field is set up. A baseball playing field is in the shape of a diamond, with a big area that extends beyond it (called the ‘outfield’.) The tip of the diamond is called home plate or home base. This is where players stand when they’re trying to hit the baseball. It’s also the base players must touch in order to score a run. Everything within the shape of the diamond and the outfield is called ‘fair ground’. Everything outside of this shape is called ‘out of bounds’. First base extends in a straight line directly from home base, and second and third base continue the diamond shape. Each base is the same length apart (although this distance varies depending on the age and skill of the baseball players.)
Know the positions on each team. Baseball is a game played between two teams of at least 9 players on each team. Each player has a different job on the baseball team, depending on his or her position. The pitcher throws or pitches the ball toward the person on the opposite team, who is waiting to hit the ball with the bat. The catcher stands behind the batter from the other team and catches the ball if it isn’t hit, and he also stands guard at home base to catch any incoming baseballs. There are players on first, second and third base who must guard the base and try to get the ball to their base before a player from the opposite team gets there. And there is also a shortstop, who stands between second and third base, and assists all of the infield players. There are three outfield players (left, center and right field), who need to catch the baseball and throw it infield to any player on their own team as soon as possible. All of these positions are defensive positions. When a team is on the field playing defense, they cannot score runs. Rather, they must try to stop the other team from scoring runs. (Only the defensive team needs to use baseball gloves.)
Learn about pitching. The job of a pitcher is to throw a ball that the other team’s player will want to swing at. The pitcher can throw a ‘ball’, which means that the baseball wasn’t over the plate and between the player’s neck and knees, and so the batter didn’t swing at it. Or, the pitcher can throw a ‘strike’, which means the ball was over the plate and within the batter’s neck and knees, and he missed it or the batter hit the ball out of bounds. Each time a batter is up to bat, he can be thrown up to 4 balls (after which he will be given a free walk to first base) or 3 strikes (after which he will be out and have to return to his team bench). The batter can’t get ‘out’ if he hits a foul ball on his third strike. (A foul ball is one that goes outside of the baseball diamond shape). At any time while the pitcher is pitching, the batter must try to hit the baseball into the field before he gets 3 strikes or 4 balls.
Learn how a team can stop another team from scoring. In the game of baseball, the rules state that once a team has 3 ‘outs’, they must switch to defense and play the field, while the other team takes their turns trying to hit the baseball. A team that is up to bat will send one player at a time to stand at home plate with a baseball bat and swing at the balls that the pitcher throws. If the batter hits the ball, he must try to get safely to a base without getting out. He can get out in a number of ways. If he hits the ball and a member of the other team catches it before it hits the ground, he is out and must return to his team’s bench. If he swings the bat three times but never makes contact with the ball (called a ‘strike’), he’s out. And if the other team manages to get the ball to the base before the runner can get there after hitting it, the player is also out. After a team has three outs, it is the other team’s turn to be up at bat and try to score runs.
Understand how a team runs around the baseball diamond. Once a player hits the baseball, he will run to first base. Baseball rules require that only one offensive player can be on a base at a time. So if a player is running to first base, any offensive player that was previously on that base needs to run to second base, and so on. Depending on how far a ball is hit, players may have the chance to run more than one base during a single baseball hit. This is fine, and ideal. Players aim to hit a ‘home run’, which means that he is able to run from first base to second, third, and then home base before the baseball is thrown to the base he was on, and before any other player comes up to bat. A player can also score a home run if he hits the ball out of the park. It must travel over fair ground and go beyond the limits of the baseball field to be considered a home run. If the bases were loaded at this time (with a player on each base when the home run was hit), this is called a ‘grand slam’.
Understand how innings work. Baseball rules require that each team be given 9 chances at bat, and 9 chances to play defense (or the field). Each segment is called an ‘inning’. When the game is started, it is considered to be ‘the top of the first’ inning, since each inning has two segments (because each team gets a chance at bat during each inning.) When the team up to bat switches with the defensive team, it’s now considered ‘the bottom of the first’. When that team goes back to the field, a new inning starts. This continues until the bottom of the ninth inning. When that is over, the baseball game is complete. Scores are tallied, and a winner is decided.

When the battery on your Polar heart rate monitor begins to weaken, your wrist display will show you some indicators. The lit low battery indicator activates when 10 to 15 percent of the battery function remains. When this occurs, your watch automatically turns off the backlight and sound functions. If you see the indicator in cold weather, but then it disappears when you return to room temperature, your battery does not need replacing. Before you remove the battery, transfer your exercise data online through the Polar website.
The model of the Polar monitor will affect how you change the battery. Look at the back of the watch. If you see a silver covering held on by little screws, you need a small, Philips screwdriver. Loosen all four screws and remove the back. Instead of using the metal screwdriver to remove the battery, find a plastic tool, or a wooden toothpick or popsicle stick. Place the tool under the battery and gently press up to pop out the battery. Replace it with a new battery and position the positive, plus sign, side of it facing up. Align the small heart on the underside of the metal covering with the metal contact next to the battery to properly position the covering. Tighten the little screws and your battery is replaced.
The newer Polar monitors and chest straps have plastic coverings over their batteries. The coverings have a small slot that fits the side of a coin. Insert the coin and twist the covering to the "open" position. Use a plastic or wood, flat head tool or popsicle stick that fits underneath the battery. Press up and pop out the battery. Replace the battery on the wrist monitor and face the positive side out. Replace the chest strap battery by putting the battery into the plastic cover with the positive side facing the cover. Also, replace the sealing ring on the chest strap if you have a new one. You can purchase the batteries and rings together from Polar. Return the coverings to their proper places and twist the coin until the covering is in the "closed" position.
A Polar monitor comes with a 2 year warranty that guarantees the device will be free of defects. If you purchased the monitor second hand, the warranty is not valid. This warranty also does not cover the battery. The challenge here is in regards to the older Polar models that have to be opened with a screwdriver. The warranty is voided when you open the back, but hopefully, you’re already past the 2 year warranty period by the time you need to change the battery. If not, follow Polar’s guidelines on where to send the watch for battery replacement.

If Fulham is the land of the red chinos, Dalston is the land of the singlet. Or the ‘wife beater’ as we once knew it jokingly, before we decided jokes need trigger warnings. You know you’re dining in springtime Dalston when you’re eating bespoke chicken within sight of vests exposing armpit hair and jeans so tight you can see the wearer’s mild arousal.
At Chick ‘n’ Sours pop up pioneer Carl Clarke’s new Dalston chicken shack the males sitting at the bench beside me complained bitterly about the ghastly election while simultaneously planning three holidays: Sardinia, Croatia and a boys only jolly to Berlin. House completion dates permitting, that is. Young Dalston women (usually called Harriet), wearing Barrecore pants, hobble from Columbia Road carrying aspidistra plants with their very thin arms. All dogs wear neckerchiefs.
I have a soft spot for Dalston. It’s silly but fun. Clearly, it is largely unrecognisable from ten years ago. In fact, it’s high time the residents rose up, like in Brixton, and staged a protest against themselves. And its dining options grow ever more favourable: I’m a big fan of Rotorino, Pond, A Little of What You Fancy, White Rabbit and Tonkotsu East. Dinners at any of these places followed by a night at ‘alternative super pub’ The Glory are never dull.
Obviously, there is a Logan’s Run feel to going out in Dalston. Quite frankly, after the age of 30, one’s sex appeal while wearing an American Apparel spandex cheetah print halterneck diminishes rapidly and it’s time to relocate to Bishop’s Stortford and get terrifically excited when Zizzi does a two for one on calzones. But before you leave, perhaps give Chick ‘n’ Sours a try. If you’re one of those people who has never thought fried chicken and sour drinks went hand in hand, this is a place to smash those narrow minded perceptions.
The Chick ‘n’ Club cocktail contains gin, lemon, raspberry and chilli vinegar and vermouth. There are at least three things in this list that make me grimace, but I assure you, when stirred together in a half pint tankard with ice, they are dangerously drinkable. The Basil ‘n’ Strawberries vodka cocktail contains black pepper. House beers are Bermondsey’s Fourpure.
There is something irresistible about Chick ‘n’ Sours to the passing Dalston footfall we noticed as we sat out on the street, watching the world pass by. They stare, they eye up your dinner, they wander back and read the menu, they snap pictures and make loud plans to return. Imagine an army of hip moths and then imagine Chick ‘n’ Sours is a big glaring 60W bulb for them to bash their heads against. If one is wondering when the dirty food trend might end, my estimate is absolutely never. Why would it when people like Clarke put serious thought into keeping it fresh and challenging?

The Bun at Chick ‘n’ Sours which I demolished with excellent beef dripping fries is Korean fried chicken with gochujang mayo, chilli vinegar and slaw. It’s messy and has a serious kick. If you’re one of those people who cries when your chilli con carne contains chilli, don’t order the Bun. Timid types should have the Tender boneless white meat with a selection of dips to choose from. The Goan curry sauce dip is subtle, creamy loveliness.
All the chicken is free range from Pilmoor Farm and the vegetables from the Keveral Farm organic farming community. The Saturday and Sunday brunch menu offers ‘Son in law’ eggs (fried eggs, coriander, mint, crispy chicken skin and roti served with caramel sauce). Pudding or ‘End’ as it’s referred to on the menu has just one option: Weetabix ice cream. There is a reason my mother put Weetabix out for me at 8am each morning in the 1980s and I let it go to mulch. It’s almost like Carl was trying to get rid of me. Judging by the queue, my seat wouldn’t be empty for long.
